YMCA Adult Sports & Fitness programs offer fun ways to stay active, get fit, and explore new hobbies. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just looking to explore a new hobby, we have something for you! From basketball to pickleball, the YMCA offers a variety of adult sports leagues and programs that provide fun and healthy activities for adults of all fitness levels.

This class will focus on cardio calisthenics, shadow boxing, and core strengthening. For ages 16+

Kettlebell 101 for Women
Participants are taken through a variety of movements with kettlebells designed to develop strength, mobility, internal energy, work capacity, and vitality. This is the ultimate class for all-around fitness. For ages 16+.

Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong while contributing to an active, healthy lifestyle, The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn. This game can develop into a quick, fast-paced competitive game for experienced players. All are welcome to come play. Pickleball is available at all branches. Please check gym schedules for available pickleball time.

9:00 AM-12:00 PM
- There will be only two nets set up at a time.
- Nets will stay up all day.
- Must wear masks while playing.
- Gymnasium has 10-person capacity for sports.
- Hand sanitize between games.
- Y equipment sanitized between each session.

- There will be two nets set up to allow for additional space between participants.
- Masks are not required while playing, however, we ask that participants waiting to play please wear one and where to physical distancing.

The Benton Harbor-St. Joseph branch features several racquetball courts! If the court is open, members can walk on for no charge (non-members must pay a daily use fee). You may also reserve a court up to 30 minutes in advance of the next half hour. Safety goggles are required to play.
Racquetball will return Monday, October 5, 2020, with modifications!
Racquetball will return to the Benton Harbor-St. Joseph branch on Monday, October 5! Modifications to keep you safe include wearing face masks, hand sanitizing between games and a maximum of four players per court.
Adult Volleyball League
Our co-ed volleyball leagues are fun for everyone! Teams will play 6 games plus a single-elimination tournament. Teams must be registered by the captain. If you are new to the Y, please pick up a registration form from the Member Service Desk.
Women on Weights
This instructional, small-group class teaches women proper weight-lifting etiquette, technique, and routine. The goals are to assist women in improving posture, increasing strength, and losing body mass. For ages 16+.
Each session provides a routine that includes information on proper form and how to safely use the equipment, and each session will focus on a new muscle group.
